Summary of Qualifications Nathalia Artus is the Regional Lending Manager at the Virginia Small Business Financing Authority (VSBFA), the lending arm of the Department of Small Business and Supplier Diversity for the Commonwealth of Virginia. Nathalia is responsible for promoting economic development through financially assisting all businesses, including small, women, minority and veteran owned businesses. Her work focus is to develop partnerships with financial institutions and economic development authorities in the Greater Richmond and Northern Virginia areas, aiming to provide businesses with resources and opportunities. A native Brazilian with over 10 years of experience in financial services, Nathalia has been living, working and playing in the Greater Richmond area for 6 years. Her passion for small businesses and nonprofits has prompted an extended interest in the community. Nathalia is actively involved, serving as board member of many nonprofit organizations and committee member of local chambers of commerce. In the last two years her work has led her to receive the Style Weekly Top 40 under 40 Award, the Greater Richmond Chamber of Commerce HYPE Icon Award in the Front Runner category and the Top Intermediate Lender Award for the SBA Richmond District office. Summary of Qualifications Stephanie is a Co-Founder and Senior Associate at Venture Frameworks, a financial consulting firm focused on working with early-stage and growth-stage businesses. She helps make numbers less scary. Stephanie has always loved numbers. Graduating with a degree in Finance and International Business from the University of Richmond, she jumpstarted her career in the investment banking industry in Charlotte, NC. As an investment banking analyst, Stephanie worked extensively with Middle Market companies to raise capital or participate in M&A processes. She quickly learned about the power of numbers and analytics in businesses of any size. Taking a Wall Street skill set with no Wall Street attitude, Stephanie moved back to Richmond to co-found Venture Frameworks. As an avid believer of the “See One, Do One, Teach One” mantra, Stephanie now collaborates with local businesses to analyze their financial situation, deliver uncomplicated financial models and empower company leaders to not only manage their unique model, but also feel confident that they know their numbers well enough to present them. She earned an undergraduate and graduate degree in Accounting from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia. She is a certified public accountant (CPA) and a chartered global management accountant (CGMA) that has worked with nonprofit organizations and small businesses for the past ten years. Nadia helps small businesses set up and maintain their accounting processes. She enjoys sharing information and giving practical accounting advice for small businesses to be successful. She recently launched Virginia Grace, an event management company that plans, designs, directs, and coordinates weddings, private celebrations, and corporate events. Eric is the founder of Perkins Law, PLLC, serving small businesses and nonprofit organizations across Virginia. Eric helps small business owners, executives, and entrepreneurs structure and form new business entities and memorialize their key relationships and transactions in writing so they can plan ahead, operate more profitably, and stay out of trouble. Eric is also active in franchising. He has worked with franchisees representing more than 75 franchise systems and also helped several companies grow through franchising. He is active with the Virginia Franchise Forum and is also a member of the American Bar Association Forum on Franchising. Eric is also active in the tennis community as chair of the national tennis rules and regulations committee for the USTA and co-author of “Richmond – One of America’s Best Tennis Towns” chronicling over 100 years of RVA tennis history.
